The training will take place in the areas of responsibility of all Russian Navy fleets and flotillas participating in the event.
In total, more than 20,000 military personnel were involved in the training, with the total number of ships reaching approximately 300 warships and vessels.
Additionally, up to 50 aircraft and more than 200 units of military and special equipment participated.
“Associations and formations of the Russian Navy have started scheduled exercises in the operational zones of the Northern, Pacific, and Baltic fleets, as well as in the area of responsibility of the Caspian Flotilla,” said the Russian Ministry of Defense.
An interesting fact is that the units of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, which were actively involved in previous years, did not participate in the event.
Firstly, this is due to the fact that the ships of the Black Sea Fleet cannot leave the Black Sea through the Montreux Convention, which prohibits the passage of warships from a country that is at war with another country.

Furthermore, the Black Sea Fleet has suffered significant losses during the two years of the war, and its primary task now is to preserve the warships, which are constantly being targeted by Ukrainian naval drones.
During the exercises, anti-aircraft missiles were fired, artillery shots were aimed at sea and air targets, combat exercises to set up passive obstacles to withdraw forces from a hypothetical enemy attack were conducted, as well as the use of anti-submarine weapons by surface ships and naval aviation.
